My dad was a very good dad he taught me many good things, he always took the time to help me when I needed help. Dad was a jack of all trades he knew how to do so many things. Who would have thought a electrician could make jewelry, or who ever heard of brick collection he was good at both. He made me my wedding rings they are beautiful a treasure to hold onto. Dad you were the best to all in your family we Love ️ and miss you.

Hi Jack,
Candie and I want to thank you for being our friend of so many years. We feel the world is a lesser place with you gone as you were a rare breed of a man. You were honest, trustworthy and sincere. Your promise was a contract. Your word was your bond and your handshake sealed a deal. These qualities are very rare in the modern world and will be missed.
We shared lots of good times especially while prospecting. It always seemed we had to bend our bodies like a pretzel in order to get at the gold or move the mountain of rocks a tailing pile contained to see if any nuggets were left behind. Great exercise even if we did not always find treasure.
You will be fondly remembered in our thoughts and prayers and hope you are enjoying the view from the pearly gates of your heavenly home...(Do those gates have the "Bower Special Hinges" at least 18" long,10 " wide and made of 1/2" plate steel like the barn had) Thanks for being you and our friend.

Thanks Jack for the wonderful memories that began being club members in the Sac Valley Detecting Buffs since the early 1980s. I learned so much from you about the hobby of metal detecting and was fortunate to share times together in England, in Laughlin, NV, and one occasion digging for treasures in Tonopah, NV. I still have those railroad dated nails you gave me; remember carrying a brick you wanted from England in my pouch on the field, then to a suitcase; and with our dear friends Len, John, Bernard, Al, Robert and others setting up hunt fields for FMDAC and AMDA. Only wish I could have learned more about locating gold from you. Believe me, your thoughtfulness, having a wonderful family, and kindnesses shown me and others will not be forgotten. Rest in peace old friend as you were one great guy!
